There are over 68,000 practicing physician’s assistants in the United States, with another 12,000 hopeful PAs enrolling in schools across the country this year to get their degrees. I wrote this article years ago when people were asking me how I got into PT school. My preparation at the time was a little insane. I read every single book I could find on physical therapy. I remember waking up at 3 am to read a book on neuromechanics. I understood about half of the words I read. The answer to this question is at least two times per day.
